We are a small, private farm that provides each horse with generous natural space to explore, well-maintained paddocks, large run-ins, and attentive, individualized care. Stall board, field board, and self-care field board are available, all with access to our trails, dry lots, stalls for appointments, a 60-foot round pen, heated automatic waterers and hot and cold water wash bays. Our paddocks are managed with low horse numbers to preserve healthy grass cover.

The farm is ideal for retirement boarders and for owners who prefer a quiet, peaceful environment to ride, exercise, and enjoy their horses. Conveniently located near Albemarle County and Blue Ridge Equine Clinic. Square and winter round bales are included for all boarders.

​All horses must be vaccinated (Rabies, Eastern and Western Encephalomyelitis, Tetanus, Equine Influenza, Rhinopheumonitis, West Nile Virus, Potomac Horse Fever and a recent deworming), and have proof of current negative Coggins test before arrival.  Horses must maintain a routine vaccination schedule during their stay at Still Pond Farm Stables.
